VERIZON SOCIAL: 2020 ELECTION
CALLING ALL VOTERS
In the weeks leading up to the 2020 election, we wanted to create a steady stream of content on
Verizon’s social channels that encouraged people to call, text and talk about voting. To do that we found
new & creative ways to keep the momentum going, like making up national holidays, creating shareable
stickers and recording voicemails that share the importance of voting. 

We engaged people to act, and gave them reasons to call on other voters in their own circles & beyond.
This organic campaign garnered 724K impressions + 8.3K interactions during its run time.

VOICEMAILS FROM VOTERS
We recorded voicemails that people had left for their friends and loved ones about voting and animated them to
show how important it is to reach out to your network during the election, even the ones who are too young to vote.

NATIONAL CALL DAYS
There’s an obscure holiday for everything these day and people love to post about them, so
we invented 3 holidays to encourage people to reach out to their various networks.

VOTING STICKERS
With “I Voted” stickers a badge of honor every election cycle, we wanted to create our own social friendly
“I Will Vote” stickers leading up to Nov. 3rd. We engaged fellow employees and artists outside our network to
create stickers, and encouraged people to share, vote for their favorite or even make their own.
