VERIZON 360 LIVE: THROWBACK THANKSGIVING
We gave viewers the ability to look back at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’s 92-year history in a mobile-first 360 AR livestream we called Throwback Thanksgiving. Playing off of the popular hashtag #tbt, Throwback Thanksgiving merged nostalgia with immersive technology (and thankfully, Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday). We brought back iconic balloons from past parades in AR for viewers to discover. Buildings along the route also featured AR billboards with throwback parade footage dating as far back as the 1920s.
